The Hearing

Rules to respect

There are certain rules of conduct to respect in the courtroom, among others:

  • be properly dressed
  • arrive on time
  • you are not authorized to bring food or beverages into the courtroom.
  • you must be respectful of the administrative judges and the representative of the government body whose decision you are challenging;
  • you must wait until the administrative judge who is presiding the hearing gives you the right to speak, to intervene during the hearing.
  • using a cell phone is not allowed during the hearing.
