The Tribunal may invite you to participate in a conciliation session before the hearing. This session is not compulsory, except for certain types of proceedings; for example, in the area of income security.

If the conciliation leads to an agreement between you and the department, agency or municipality, your proceeding is resolved.

If conciliation fails or only leads to a partial agreement, you always have the possibility to request for a hearing to the Tribunal.
