Distribution of information

The Regulation respecting the distribution of information and the protection of personal information obliges public agencies to distribute certain information on their website. This obligation is based on the government’s desire to ensure more transparency for its citizens.

Management staff and officers
The organization chart sets out the organizational structure of the Tribunal (administrative and jurisdictional branches). It also includes the names and titles of management staff and officers.

Statutes and Regulations
The Statutes and Regulations relating to the Tribunal administratif du Québec are accessible in the section of the website entitled "statutes and regulations".


On our website you can consult the full text of the Act respecting administrative justice and the corresponding regulations


More than a hundred of types of decisions rendered pursuant to at least as many laws as applied by departments, agencies and municipalities may be the subject of a proceeding before the Tribunal administratif du Québec.


Similarly, the Act respecting administrative justice designates the Social affairs division as being a Review Board for mental disorder within the meaning of the Criminal Code.


Regulation respecting the procedure of the Tribunal administratif du Québec
The Regulation respecting the procedure of the Administrative Tribunal of Quebec are aimed at the simple, flexible and rapid processing of proceedings which have been filed before it.


Code of Ethics
The Code of Ethics applicable to the members of the Administrative Tribunal of Quebec sets out the rules of conduct and duties of the administrative judges of the Tribunal administratif du Québec with a view to supporting public confidence in the impartial and independent exercise of their functions.


The Tribunal staff is subject to the Public Service Act and to the Regulation respecting ethics and discipline in the public service, which sets out the duties and obligations of public servants.


Policies, directives, practices and other normative documents
This section contains the various administrative documents which establish certain guiding principles and set out certain guidelines.

Person in charge of access to information and the protection of personal information
The section entitled Protection of your personal information gives you general information on how to obtain access to information at the Tribunal and the name and contact information of the person in charge.


Inventory of personal information files
The personal information held by the Tribunal must be declared in personal information files in accordance with the provisions of section 76 of the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information. The inventory of personal information files allows you to know if the Tribunal is likely to be in possession of your personal information.


Inventory of personal information files:

The Tribunal establishes and maintains a register of releases of personal information in accordance with the provisions of section 67.3 of the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.


This act also provides that the Tribunal, as with any other public body, may disclose personal information without the consent of the person concerned. This register depicts the flow of personal information held by the Tribunal.

Information relating to contracts
Section 22 of the Act respecting contracting by public bodies states that contracts over $25, 000 must be publically disclosed.


Notices and documents relating to public tender, calls for tender and contracts by mutual agreement, if any, must be published in the Système électronique d’appels d’offres (SEAO).
